Today, Lannette was informed by Colorado Senator Mark Udall and Mesa State College that she is one of 100 people chosen to attend the June Colorado Capital Conference in Washington, DC. The Colorado Capital Conference is a non-partisan annual event sponsored by Mesa State College to help educate citizens about how to advance Colorado issues in the Washington legislature.
We are working on gathering the funds to secure Lannette's place in the conference -- we need to cover registration costs as well as lodging and airfare -- so if anyone is interested in donating funds for this purpose, please use the Contact link above to let us know how to reach you. (The Colorado Fibromyalgia Network is a registered Colorado Charitable Organization. See our registration page on the Colorado Secretary of State website.)
Lannette is thrilled to be chosen to represent Colorado, and in particular the Colorado Fibromyalgia Network, once again at the national level. Congratulations, Lannette!
If you have anything you would like to see Lannette address at the conference, please share it in the comments below.
